A photography backpack for special tasks

The Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 AW III is a tactical photography backpack for special tasks. Military inspired, it features an extensive SlipLock™ attachment system. This means there are straps on the front, top, bottom and sides to cinch additional equipment. The sturdy straps securely hold your gear and save space inside the backpack, so all your essential gear stays close at hand. The SlipLock™ system is compatible with accessories from the ProTactic III collection, as well as other brands that have MOLLE/PALS standard mounts .

Versatile modularity

Included with the backpack is a zippered pouch, a welt pocket (e.g. for a bottle), 2 adjustable Quick Straps (for attaching a tripod, among other things) and a rain cover. Each accessory can be attached to the attachment straps or hip belt.

In addition, the hip belt is extendable and can be worn on its own with accessories attached, such as a camera or lens case (sold separately). Such a modular solution allows you to comprehensively customize the backpack and other ProTactic equipment.

Reliable durability

Hard, reinforced construction protects the equipment inside from shocks and impacts. In addition, the backpack remains upright when stood up, which also protects accessories attached from the outside.

It was made from recycled fabrics: 210D ripstop nylon and 600D and 900D polyester. These materials are characterized by very high resistance to abrasion, tearing, are quick-drying, resistant to moisture. In case of extremely harsh weather conditions, such as heavy rain, a rain cover is included. In addition, the black color, minimalist design and specially selected fabric make the backpack unobtrusive and easy to clean.

4 access points

The backpack adapts to many photographic tasks, too, thanks to its four access points. Quick side access allows you to pull out your camera without removing the backpack. The zipper is located on both sides, which is also convenient for left-handed users. The top access is ideal when working with a long telephoto lens - it allows you to take out the camera without opening the entire backpack. Full access at the back allows you to comprehensively organize all your equipment.

New compartment system - even more space for your gear

The backpack features a brand new MaxFit™ compartment system.

New dividers have been added to the classic ones - with bendable corners for a better fit and compressed Velcro straps to connect them together. The dividers are positioned inside the backpack with highly durable Velcro, resistant even to repeated re-packing. The entire system allows precise placement of equipment to fit as much as possible in the backpack, all the while maintaining maximum safety.

Improved carrying system - high comfort

The backpack is equipped with an improved ActivZone™ carrying system. The harness straps, removable waist belt and chest strap are adjustable for the best possible fit. In addition, the suspenders and belt are soft and foam-filled for added comfort when carrying a backpack full of gear.

The molded EVA foam, covered with breathable mesh, protects the back from overheating and provides additional lumbar support.

Additional pockets and handles

The sides of the backpack feature large, elastic pockets (for a bottle or extra tripod) and two smaller zippered pockets, including one with a snap hook, such as for keys. A detachable back panel also conceals several pockets - including a padded, zippered space for a 14-inch laptop. Smaller accessories can be placed in transparent pockets, making it easy to locate them when needed. Space for other personal items is also located under the top lid of the backpack. An elastic pocket on the suspender is provided for handy small items, such as sunglasses.

For maximum carrying convenience, it is also equipped with several additional handles so that it can be easily placed in the trunk or cargo hold, as well as an attachment strap for a suitcase.

Up to 86% of the materials used to manufacture the Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 AW III backpack were sourced from recycled materials . The fabrics have passed laboratory and field tests to confirm that they meet performance and durability requirements.
