The 1/4 Stop Silk diffuses the light, without losing much of its intensity. The diffusion quality of this textile is such that only 20% of the source is reduced, 80% is diffused, thus not flattening the light too much. A very soft diffusion produces no ambient bounce. Diffuses a light source with a light transparency whilst still retaining shadow detail, ideal for controlling overhead sunlight.
Carefully manufactured and sewn with exceptional precision, our grids are the highest quality on the market. The fabric used is self-extinguishing, although we do not recommend to use it close to a hot light source. May yellow with age and weathering.
