The China Silk Black softens and diffuses the light, also causing slight loss of intensity. Unlike the China Silk White it doesn't reflect light and introduces no bounce. It produces a calm, cool light and will be ideal for reflective surfaces, such as shiny foods/beverages.
The great advantage of a half silk is that you can combine it with another soft diffusion to have greater control over the diffusion density.
Carefully manufactured and sewn with exceptional precision, our fabrics are the highest quality on the market. We do not recommend using the fabric close to a hot light source. May pale with age and weathering.
