Manfrotto 504X Video Head

The 504X head is the new generation of Manfrotto’s most popular professional video head – the 504HD.
Enhanced with modern technologies and innovative solutions, the 504X meets the demands of professional filmmakers.

The compact design is based on Manfrotto’s Bridging Technology, which reduces the weight compared to traditional, monolithic constructions, without sacrificing strength or functionality. The head supports camera setups weighing up to 12 kg.

New fluidity technology

The 504X ensures exceptionally smooth and precise movement on both the tilt and pan axes, supported by Manfrotto’s advanced fluid technology. Each axis features independent drag adjustment, allowing fine-tuning of movement resistance to match various camera setups and user preferences.
Large, easy-to-reach knobs provide intuitive control and quick camera locking.

Counterbalance system

The built-in counterbalance system helps balance the camera weight, making tilt movements effortless.
It offers four steps of adjustment (with the center of gravity at 55 mm above the head platform):

0: off
1: 2.2 kg
2: 4.4 kg
3: 6.5 kg

This flexibility allows compatibility with a wide range of cameras and accessories.

Flat base

The flat base design allows mounting not only on tripods but also on sliders, jibs, and cranes.

Sliding quick-release plate

The top-loading plate can be attached easily from above, saving time and avoiding the need for precise alignment or sliding from the back.

3/8" EasyLink mounts

Accessories such as monitors or lights can be mounted via EasyLink 3/8" connectors, compatible with Manfrotto and ARRI anti-rotation systems.
This ensures that attached arms stay firmly locked in position without twisting.
