This Manfrotto 1 1/8" (28mm) Male Adapter is most often used to add a mount to the yoke of a heavy cinema light. The M10 (163-10) , M12 (163-12) or 3/8" (163-38) scewslips through the hole in the yoke and is secured by the wing nut and washer. The 1 1/8" stud is then inserted into a stand with a matching "Junior" receiver.
